About the Author :

Reza Modarres graduated from the American University with a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science. He later earned an M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the American University. His thesis focused on the analysis of correlation matrices. Upon graduation, Dr. Modarres worked as a post-doctoral fellow before joining George Washington University. Dr. Modarres is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute and has published more than 100 research articles on Statistics, Computer Science, and their interface. His research includes high-dimensional analysis, statistical computing, multivariate non-parametric analysis, and environmental statistics.
