About the Book

One day every psychic on Earth receives the same message-but who or what sent it? The US Theta Force and the Russian Psychotronic Division both want to find them first. Whoever has that much psychic energy will be an invincible ally. West Point career officer Martin Williams had led a team of US special forces when the ISIS-Taliban civil war erupted in Afghanistan, forcing the US to send troops in yet again to protect the already nearly-decimated civilian population. Williams had been disparaged for the uncanny luck his life-saving hunches gave him until one day when the US found out about the Russian Psychotronic Division and figured the US needed its own psychic force-a failed idea in the minds of the Generals old enough to remember the 1970s. Somehow knowing that billionaire technology inventor Ari Mann warranted psychic investigation, President Gomez assigned the new US Theta Force team, with Marty as second-in-command, to the mission-even before the unit was fully formed and long before the team had undergone much training. What Theta Force uncovered would have been mind-blowing enough were it not for another threat vector it was hard to get their heads around-a mysterious message heard by all psychics around the world. Who or what sent that mysterious message?

About the Author :
Emmy(R) Award winner and media research industry leader, Bill Harvey has foretold the future of media for over 35 years. With a degree in philosophy and an imaginative, unorthodox mind for research, innovation and invention, Bill started his career in the media business. He predicted today's media reality and became a leader in the field as media morphed into being more interactive. In 2022, he received an Emmy(R) Award for pioneering development of technology. He holds four issued US patents. Bill experienced the Zone-that space where innovative and successful ideas and actions flow effortlessly-as a young child. The son of orchestra leader Ned Harvey and Ziegfeld Follies showgirl Sandra Harvey, he started performing on stage at age four, dancing with showgirls and exchanging lines with comedic greats. He liked the feeling of being "on" and wanted to learn how to be "on" more often. So began his lifelong quest to understand how to bring on higher states of consciousness and to help others do the same.Bill founded the Human Effectiveness Institute with the goal of sharing the consciousness techniques he had learned and developed. His first book, MIND MAGIC: The Science of Microcosmology, met with rave reviews in the late 70s and praise from thousands of readers. It is now in its sixth edition. In his second book, YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE: Imagine That, Bill speculates about the true nature of reality, in which all that exists is a single divine consciousness made of information. Turning to fiction, Bill conceived a series of novels entitled Agents of Cosmic Intelligence. THE FIRST SON, first to be released as Episode 2, covers the ancient world and its great prophets-whom Bill sees as cosmically-inspired Agents. PANDEMONIUM: Live to All Devices, Episodes 12 and 13 in the series, is set quite a few years in our own future when new media technology has served up augmented reality and artificial people. THE MESSAGE is Episode 11 in the series.Bill lives with his wife Lalita and their cat Zohreh in the Hudson Valley.

Review :
New Sci-Fi Series Stands on Shoulders of Asimov and Bradbury. Harvey's narrative is gripping both in the story he crafts and the ways in which he grounds it in the reality we know. Readers will be just as engaged by the unique, nuanced characters as they are enthralled by the sheer number of concepts Harvey manages to weave into the narrative. -BookTrib Bold, Brisk, Conspiratorial, Psychic Thriller Imagines Humanity's Secret History. Globe-crossing thriller of expanded consciousness... Harvey takes wild narrative risks readers will not see coming. Harvey's inventiveness extends to cosmic alt-history, millennia-spanning conspiracies, futurology, untapped human potential, memorable tech-thriller action... But it's the ideas that drive this [Agents of Cosmic Intelligence] series: Harvey spins a secret history of all of us, urging us to be more. -BookLife Reviews by Publishers Weekly Bill Harvey's THE MESSAGE is an entertaining and thought provoking sci-fi thriller that's idiosyncratic and brimming with unconventional ideas. Harvey is a capable writer, able to transmit complex ideas in a clear, concise manner. The action sequences are well handled and the explanation of the psychic prowess of his leads is generally satisfying and certainly convinces within the world he has created. It works as a perfect stand-alone taster for the "Agents of Cosmic Intelligence" series, of which it is a part.-IndieReader A creative chapter of an expansive near-future world. It's a pleasure to suspend your disbelief in the face of this semi-dystopian premise with a wide cast of colorful characters. Harvey isn't afraid to dig deep into a particular type of tech, an ideology, or a military procedure, and that storytelling flair for flowing in and out of detail keeps the rhythm enticing and the read addictive. For an inventive work of visionary sci-fi with an allegorical tinge of social commentary, The Message is a riveting addition to Harvey's enigmatic Agents of Cosmic Intelligence series. -Independent Review of Books An intriguing tale with a strong appeal to fans of military thrillers and science fiction. Harvey plots deftly and introduces a cast of characters that readers will adore. The conflict is well articulated... grows in intensity, quickly reaching an explosive moment. The Message is written in sparkling prose; it features exciting dialogues and a conflict that moves the plot steadily forward. -The Book Commentary A must-read for fans of Ray Bradbury and Aleister Crowley Highly ambitious and thought-provoking... The writing style is cinematic and fluid... The pacing is fast and the action is gripping, making it hard to put down. The blend of science fiction, espionage, and theology creates a unique and entertaining story that will have readers on the edge of their seats. The ending leaves readers wanting more and the series has potential to be an exciting and thought-provoking read. I recommend it to readers who enjoy action-packed thrillers with a philosophical twist. -Reedsy/Discovery
