About the Book

"The Majority Rules" is a legal thriller by the Honourable Eugene Sullivan, a long time, federal appeals court judge in Washington, DC. This compelling novel of judicial intrigue features as its hero a judge, Tim Quinn, who finds himself in the middle of a string of murders that cover up a conspiracy to fix cases on the US Court of Appeals. Complicating Quinn's attempts to uncover the conspirators is his complex relationship with Chief Judge Harry Winston, the urbane southern gentleman who helped Tim win confirmation to the Court; and Tim's relationship with Vicky Hauser, the federal prosecutor, whose aid he must enlist to infiltrate the scheme. Their sexual tryst comes back to threaten Tim's marriage and his life, in the novel's gripping and deadly climax.

About the Author :
Eugene Sullivan is a graduate of West Point and a Vietnam veteran. He has served as an Army Ranger instructor, a White House lawyer for President Nixon, and the General Counsel of the US Air Force and the NRO, the super-secret spy agency featured in the movie, "Enemy of the State." Now on senior status with the U.S Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, Judge Sullivan also heads a judicial consulting firm that includes three former heads of the FBI who are also former judges (William Webster, William Sessions, and Louis Freeh). He is at work on several other novels featuring Tim Quinn.
