Review :
'This volume provides a very rich store of material ... The fact that folk songs can be a form of oral history makes the volume very useful within a school environment, but they are also very singable and lack the formality that can be associated with the classical 'art song' repertoire, so are particularly helpful for community or 'Can't Sing' situations. As always, there are brilliant suggestions for warming up, learning and performance attached to each song.' Sue Anderson, Singing Winter 2007
