About the Author :
Fred B. Chernow is the principal of an elementary school on Staten Island, New York. He has conducted in--service courses for teachers as well as seminars for business and professional leaders in letter writing and communication skills. He is an adjunct professor at St. John's University. Carol Chernow is an English teacher at a large, multiethnic intermediate school. She taught elementary grades in Maryland and communication skills to adults for the federal government. The Chernows have had several books published by Parker, including the best--selling Classroom Discipline and Control.
