Yin ShanYin Shan is with Medicare Australia as a senior review assessment officer, working on data mining and machine learning applications on medical data. He previously worked as a scientific programmer in the Australian National University and a postdoctoal research fellow at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He received his PhD in computer science from the University of New South Wales, in 2005 and his MSc and BSc in computer science from Wuhan University, China in 1999 and 1996, respectively.
