Chesterton (the subject of his dissertation), C.S. Lewis, and others. He i also the author of "The Likeness of Sinful Flesh," a novel set in the Caribbean that is a poignant exploration of a young woman's struggle with doubts about God's goodness in the face of evil and suffering. Dr. Isley enjoys reading literature, history, and theology, watching movies, conversing with friends, and relishing his wife's excellent cooking.
