William spent most of his career in higher education information technology at Pepperdine University and the University of Redlands. He spent a few years in the corporate realm as a higher education technology consultant and project manager at a 'big four' accounting firm and higher education software provider in San Francisco. Besides his professional and writing pursuits, William enjoys exploring the scenic trails surrounding Palm Springs throughout the year. San Jacinto State Park is a favorite destination for his hiking adventures, especially during the summer when the elevation brings cooler temperatures than the scorching desert floor.
