William C Ade

William C AdeWilliam C. Ade, great-nephew of playwright George Ade, is an independent petroleum geologist specializing in international new ventures. Born and raised on a family farm in Indiana, he worked his way through school earning degrees in geology, physicsand geology, and an MBA at Ball State. Will began his career in 1975 as a field geologist and geophysicist for Phillips Petroleum. Since the late-1970s his work has been primarily in Asia. In 1986 he founded a consulting company in Singapore generating wildcat exploration prospects, new ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. He has found commercial oil and gas with an estimated recovery of over 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent, holding royalties on several of the fields he discovered. Will has spoken at many industry conferences, and his comments have appeared in Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Barron's. Will divides his time between international travel and his homes in Indiana and Florida. He is the author of The Artworks of LuEthel Davis Ade, A Pioneer in the Fullest Sense: The Wit and Wisdom of George Ade's Father, and Wildcat Road: Indiana Farms to Asian Oil Fields to Tiger 21.
