Weng Cho ChewWeng Cho Chew received all his degrees from MIT. His interests include wave physics, computational electromagnetics, and quantum electromagnetics. He joined Schlumberger-Doll Research Center in 1981 and then the University of Illinois in 1985. There,he was director of the Electromagnetics Lab, founder professor, Y. T. Lo chair professor, and Fisher distinguished professor. From 2007 to 2011, he served as the dean of engineering at Hong Kong University. In 2017, he joined Purdue University as a distinguished professor. He has coauthored three books, many lecture notes, over 450 journal papers, and more than 600 conference papers. He received two IEEE Technical Field Awards in Graduate Teaching and Electromagnetics.
