Wenfu WeiWenfu Wei is a Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Guest Editor for IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science. He carries out applied research in high-voltage insulation, electrical contact, discharge plasma, advanced eletrical materials, and artificial intelligence for automation of power systems. He is the chairman of the IEEE International Standards Working Group, a member of several domestic and foreign academic organizations, a member of the editorial board of journals (the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Magazine, Railway Standard Design, and the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems), and a member of the China Railway Group.
