Wayne SchubertWayne Schubert received his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1973, and then went on to join the faculty of the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University, where he presently teaches grduate-level atmospheric dynamics. His research covers tropical meteorology, atmospheric dynamics and numerical weather prediction. Professor Schubert is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and has served as Co-Chief Editor of the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences and as the AMS Publications Commissioner.
