Wayne Bartholomew

Wayne 'Rabbit' Bartholomew was the 1978 World Professional Surfing Champion and is currently the CEO of ASP International. Rabbit and his peers pioneered the professional surfing circuit, travelling the world on the proverbial shoestring to a handul of scattered events until a unified World Tour was formed in 1977. Rabbit was rated in the top 5 in the world for eight consecutive seasons and distinguished himself with his cavalier approach to the big waves of Hawaii and his fierce competitive nature.
