Wanda L CollinsWanda Collins grew up in Central New York, in a large family. Her parents prioritized adventure and spent much of the summers traveling across the United States. Her love for the diverse landscape and culture of the United States compelled her to joi the United States Marines at nineteen, where she met her husband, Thom, a fellow Marine. The two settled in Northern New York where they started a homestead and raised their seven children.Story telling has been an element of Wanda's daily rhythm since she was young. She often read stories filled with a sense of wonder, imagination, and humor to her children before bed.Writing became a larger part of her life as she focused on her faith-writing biblical studies, essays, and exegesis. As a faithful Christian, Wanda has stood as a community pillar, with opportunities to lead initiatives in faith building, gender equity, and fostering healthy families.
