Wan Ahmad Jaafar Wan YahayaWan Ahmad Jaafar Wan Yahaya has been the Director at the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia (PTPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, since 2016. He also serves as the President of the Malaysian Educational Technology Associatin (META). He is the Chairman of the Technical Committee on Audio, Video, Information Technology, and Communication Equipment at the Department of Standard Malaysia, Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Multimedia Education from the University of Leeds and a Master of Education (Computer in Education) from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. In teaching, Prof. Dr. Wan Ahmad Jaafar Wan Yahaya has been focusing on Graphic 2D, 3D & Animation, Multimedia Project Management, Multimedia in Education, and 3D Visualizations and Animations. He has graduated over 30 PhD students. Some of his innovative creations and projects have won gold awards and special recognition in International Innovation, Invention, Design, and Technology competitions in Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, and Geneva (Switzerland).
