Wallace Keck

Wallace Fremont Keck was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, in the last year of the baby boom and coincidentally, the first year of the Wilderness Act. At age seven the family of six moved to the woodlands of Bella Vista, Arkansas. The Ozarks lured himinto a career of protecting, exploring, and interpreting the wilder landscapes of Arkansas, Missouri, and Idaho.
