Virginia Doellgast

Virginia Doellgast is Associate Professor of Comparative Employment Relations at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR Schol). Her research focuses on the political economy of work and employment; particularly the impact of labour unions and labour market institutions on economic inequality, job quality, and precarity. Her publications include Disintegrating Democracy at Work: Labor Unions and the Future of Good Jobs in the Service Economy (Cornell University Press,) and Reconstructing Solidarity: Labour unions, precarious work, and the politics of institutional change in Europe (Oxford University Press).
