Soy conocido por haber creado la serie Yeti y he ilustrado más de sesenta libros para jóvenes lectores de todo el mundo. Mi oba más reciente como autor-ilustrador es Un hogar para Leo (Two Lions). Mi primer libro, The Thing About Yetis, salió a la venta en 2014 y recibió críticas positivas del New York Times, Kirkus y Booklist. La continuación, Bedtime for Yeti, salió a la venta en diciembre de 2016.

Antes vivía en Nueva York, pero ahora he vuelto a Río, mi ciudad natal, con mi gato y mi perro. Vivimos entre plantas, libros ilustrados y tablas de surf. A menudo visito Nueva York en busca de inspiración creativa.

I am an award-winning Brazilian author-illustrator.

I am known for creating the Yeti series and have illustrated more than sixty books for young readers around the world. My most recent work as an author-illustrator is Un hogar para Leo (Two Lions). My first book, The Thing About Yetis, was released in 2014 and received positive reviews from The New York Times, Kirkus, and Booklist. Its sequel, Bedtime for Yeti, was published in December 2016.

I used to live in New York, but I have now returned to Rio, my hometown, with my cat and dog. We live surrounded by plants, picture books, and surfboards.

I often visit New York in search of creative inspiration.
