Vilas PatilVilas Patil, social worker, has over 15 years of experience in organic farming practices and biodynamic agriculture. He works in a development organisation, Institute for Integrated Rural Development (IIRD) based in Aurangabad (India), and is involve with small farmers mobilisation, farmer training and promotion of community based organic guarantee systems to enable market access for the small farmers. He is involved in the development of local markets for the organic products of small farmers through the concept of "Organic Bazaars". He has mobilised farmers in establishment of community based seed banks for indigenous seed preservation and promotion.
