Vicki BisbeeVicki Bisbee is an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes in northeastern Montana. She has lived there for over 50 years and graduated from Poplar High School. Ken Ryan gave her the Assiniboine name Shunk Togaja Wiya (Gray WolfWoman) in 1996. Vicki received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Northern Montana College. After retirement from Wolf Point School District as a school counselor, she met with Michael Turcott, a language instructor, and received an Assiniboine Dictionary that was published in 2018. Vicki decided to publish colorful language materials for all ages.
