Vered Amit is Professor of Anthropology at Concordia University, Montreal. She is the author or editor of numerous books including most recently Community, Cosmopolitanism and the Problem of Human Commonality with Nige Rapport (Pluto Press, 2012) and Thinking through Sociality: An Anthropological Interrogation of Key Concepts (Berghahn Books, 2015).
