Vera BogachenkoVera Bogachenko was born in Ukraine to the family of a Baptist pastor. As a child, she admired her children's bible with its colorful pictures. She thought it was miraculous that pictures could tell stories so beautifully! Vera started drawing anywhee and everywhere: with her fingers on a dusty car, at school in the margins of her notebooks, in church in her mother's books. First with pencils, then with paints on canvas. When she grew up, she studied Design and Art at the University. After receiving her bachelor's degree she delved into book illustration. As her creativity evolved, she mastered digital illustration which appealed to her love of technology. Vera and her husband live in California and raise a son and daughter - her biggest fans!
