Vadym PoliakovProf. Vadym Leontiiovych Poliakov graduated from Moscow (diploma), Kiev State Universities. For fifty years I have been working as (leading) researcher at the Institute of Hydromechanics (NASU, Kiev); defended dissertations devoted to nonlinear theor of waterlogged lands drainage, for twenty years taught at the National University of Construction, Architecture. I am also the chief researcher (IWPLR, NAASU). The specific areas of research concern studying theoretical issues related to purification of natural and waste waters by physical-chemical and biological methods, regulation of water and nutrient conditions of agricultural lands under climate change.
