V.T. Stone is a pen name.

In a book that asks mothers to step out of the shadows of their children's destructive choices, remaining anonymous might seem contradictory. But the truth is much simpler: this anonymity is a boundary.

As a wrking mother who spent years battling through courtrooms, hospitals, and broken systems to try and save children who ultimately refused to be saved, the author learned the hard way that peace must be fiercely protected. This book was written to tell the unvarnished truth, but that truth cannot come at the expense of the children in her family who are thriving, working hard, and building positive lives of their own. V.T. Stone represents the strength it takes to finally draw a line in the sand-to love the children who are lost, but to violently protect the peace of the family that remains.

She hopes this book finds its way into the hands of the mothers who are sitting in the dark, wondering where they went wrong, so they can finally realize they did the best they could.
