He did his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur in 1995 and 1999, respectively and currently pursuing his PhD from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. Umesh Chandra Sharma has 1 book, 2 papers and 3 book chapters' publications to his credit. He was in editorial board of widely acclaimed multi-volume series on Nanotechnology published by Studium Press LLC, USA. He has organized 1 international conference, 2 national conferences, attended 24 short-term courses, presented papers in 7 national/international level conferences and has delivered 14 invited lectures. Apart from teaching and technical writing, he enjoys writing poems, short stories and novels; reading spiritual literature and world history and playing violin.
