Tom WeigelTom Weigel lived on New York's Lower East Side during the 1970s and 80s and is recognized as a member of the 3rd generation of New York School Poets. He was an active participant at the Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in the 1970s and 1980s. His umerous reading venues have included the Ear Inn (NYC), the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Belgrade Museum of Art in the former Yugoslavia and on WBAI radio in New York. He edited Tangerine Magazine from 1981-1986. His numerous books include publications by Telephone Books and Accent Editions. His work appears in many anthologies and poetry magazines including the Paris Review. In 2003 he founded a poetry reading series in New London, CT.
