Tim Raats

Tim Raats is senior researcher at imec-SMIT-VUB where he heads the Media policy and economics Unit. Tim is also assistant professor at the Communication Sciences Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) where he teaches courses on media olicy and economics, and where he coordinates the Medialab of the department. He specializes in policy and market research on production and distribution of television in small media markets and public service media management and policy issues. He is board member of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund and the Flemish Radio and Television Academy.
