Tim was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and holds an honorary Doctorate of Business Administration and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. He is a recipient of the Florida Restaurant Association Lifetime Achievement Award and has been inducted into the Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame. At age forty-two, he began playing polo.
