Thomas Wharton

Thomas Wharton was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and lived in Jasper for several years before moving to Edmonton to complete a B.A. and M.A. in English at the University of Alberta. He completed a Ph.D. in English at the University of Calgary i 1998, and now lives in Edmonton with his wife, Sharon Avery, and his children, Mary and Conor. He is the author of one previous novel, the multi-award-winning Icefields and is currently at work on his third novel, set in the present day.
