Thomas McKeenThomas McKeen (nee Bush) was brought up with Indigenous Cultural LORE. He grew up and spent many years with traditional Elders throughout east and southeast Arnhem land remote communities. He is thankful for his ancestors' strength, beauty and resilince of the dreaming heritage, verbal stories and knowledge of creation.His family heritage is from Ngukurr and Mar (Roper River Mission and Boorroloola Missions). He is grateful for being able to develop with Australian First Nations traditional Cultural grounding with grass roots upbringing of Cultural LORE and traditions of and from the old ways. Thomas has dedicated much of his life to health and healing and has spent time working with First Nations People men's healing groups, stolen generation survivors, families and carers who are living with chronic health conditions as well as delivering Cultural Awareness training.
