Thomas Gibbons

Thomas Gibbons, BA, LLM, Dip. Crim., is Professor of Law at the University of Manchester, England. His main research interests are in media and communications law and regulation, about which he has published extensively, especially in relaton to media ownership and concentration. He is a founding editor of the Journal of Media Law. His publications include Regulating the Media (2nd edition, 1998) and Audiovisual Regulation under Pressure: Comparative Cases from North America and Europe (with Peter Humphreys) (2012).
