Thomas BoydThomas Boyd (1898-1935) was born in Defiance, Ohio, in the heart of Simon Girty country. He attended Woodward High School in Cincinnati and served with distinction in WWI. After the war he became literary editor of the Minneapolis Daily Star, which lunched his career as an author.
