Thando NdaranaThando Ndarana is Associate Professor in meteorology in the Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Meteorology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His main research is on weather systems dynamics, extreme weather predictability, and theimpact of stratospheric ozone depletion on surface climate. Thando is a member of the World Weather Research Programme's (WWRP) Working Group on Predictability, Dynamics and Ensemble Forecasting (PDEF), the International Commission on Dynamic Meteorology (ICDM), and the International Commission on the Middle Atmosphere (ICMA).
