Tess RixenTess Rixen is a fourteen-year-old author who devotes most of her time to writing, and not nearly enough time to piano playing. The inspiration for Slipper books comes from a list of rules she made in late 2009, when she was around 7 or 8. She just moved from Georgia to Connecticut with her family, and a list of rules was her way of inserting some order in a bit scary, unknown and new environment.
