Teodora Oprea

Born and based in Romania, Teodora studied Design at the University of Oradea and began her career as a graphic designer in 2012. A few years later, she got a job at a game studio. After creating lots of graphics for games, she went on to collaborte with a stock resource website and fell in love with children's illustration. Although she lives near Transylvania, her affinities are far from frightening. She loves creating cute and charming worlds, full of joyful characters that bring smiles to the faces of kids and adults alike. She works digitally, in Adobe Illustrator, but prefers creating the first sketches on paper as she enjoys the simplicity of it and the connection with the process. Her inspiration comes from vintage books, travels and walks around her hometown. When she's not drawing, you can find her visiting friends or watching the latest crime series on Netflix.
