Taylor VenturiniI'm a multidisciplinary artist and educator with a passion for visual storytelling, community engagement, and creative expression. I earned my degree from UC Santa Cruz, where I focused on drawing, painting, and mixed media. During my studies, I had the opportunity to expand my artistic perspective by studying conceptual art abroad at the Art Mill in the Czech Republic and participating in the Art in Global Context exhibition. My professional journey includes roles as the Art Department Photographer at UCSC-where I documented artwork, events, and managed visual content for digital platforms-and as the founder and curator of Upstairs at the Catalyst, where I organized four consecutive art exhibitions. I also honed my graphic design skills through an internship with Atomic Graphics, gaining extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite.Currently, I'm an art teacher at TMAS in Diamond Bar, CA, where I'm dedicated to inspiring creativity in the next generation of artists. My artistic practice continues outside the classroom through commissioned works, public murals for the City of Grover Beach, and annual installations for the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles. I've also recently exhibited at the Progressive Gallery in Pomona and created immersive art installations for the Shabang Arts and Music Festival (2022-2023). To continue growing as both an artist and educator, I completed two recent workshops through CalArts. Read More Read Less
