With over 20 years of experience in classrooms and leadership roles supporting classrooms, she believes that every child deserves to see their family reflected in the stories thy read. In addition to her work as an author, Tami Lemire is completing doctoral research focused on STEM education and trauma-informed teaching practices. Her research supports her work as a consultant helping schools create learning environments where students and teachers feel safe, seen, and empowered. She partners with educators across the country to build classrooms where emotional well-being and academic success go hand in hand. When she's not writing, speaking, or working with schools, she is enjoying time with her family, gardening, and creating resources that build bridges between compassion and curriculum.
