Sylvia Hatchell Sylvia Hatchell has been a college head coach for 30 years, with a career won-lost record of 659-260. Over the past 19 years, she has coached the University of North Carolina women’s teams to a record of 387-180. Her teams have won five Atlantic oast Conference titles (including 2005), and in 1994 the Tar Heels won the NCAA National Championship.
