Susannah UralSusannah Ural is Professor of History and Co-Director of the Dale Center for the Study of War and Society at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she specializes in the US Civil War Era, US War and Society, the American South, and Irih-American history. She is a frequent contributor to a variety of magazines and journals, including America’s Civil War, Civil War Times, and The Journal of Military History.
