Sue TredgetSue Tredget grew up in Northern Ireland and studied Modern Languages at Leeds University. She lived and worked in France, Spain and England before moving to Perth, Western Australia in 1999. In 2014, Sue took a break from teaching to write and travelfollowing a difficult period. She stayed at a retreat in India, travelled solo around Italy and walked part of the Camino de Santiago, among other adventures. After a year of healing and self-discovery she returned to education on a more flexible basis and became a Beyond Blue speaker to share her experience with depression and anxiety and help raise awareness around mental health. Sue continues to teach French and Spanish part-time and writes whenever she can. She has two grown-up children and lives near the ocean with her cycling crazy husband and her cavoodle.
