Sue SoanSue Soan trained as a teacher in Portsmouth, specialising in history and mathematics. She has since taught in east Sussex, Shropshire and Kent, first as a class teacher and subject coordinator and for the last decade as a SENCO in mainstream schools,a MLD Unit and specialist EBD school. At Canterbury Christ Church University, Sue is a Senior Lecturer in Enabling Learning, Inclusion and Institutional Development. She is particularly interested in social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, gifted and talented children and children′s motor development.
