Sue CulliganSue Culligan studied graphics and photography at Brighton College of Art and, a passionate knitter since childhood, decided to start her own business designing and selling children's knitwear in a tiny shop in Brighton. In 1981 Kangaroo (wooll jumpers!) was born. The business evolved to become a yarn shop, then finally a busy Internet business. She recently sold the Kangaroo business and now runs residential knitting retreats and workshops in France, as well as designing knitting kits for her online business KnitKits. Sue works as a freelance pattern checker for Knitting magazine and has published three knitting books; The Knitting Stitch and Motif Directory (under her maiden name of Sue Pearce), Techno Cozies and Vintage Knit Knacks.
