Subhayu ChattopadhyaySubhayu Chattopadhyay is Assistant Professor at the Department of History, Visva-Bharati. His areas of research are history of science and technology in colonial India and social and cultural history of colonial and postcolonial India. His current reearch focuses on the role of technology in different fields of public entertainment, spanning from theatre to radio.
