Stuart LloydStuart Lloyd was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and has spent one-third of his life in Africa, one- third in South-East Asia, and one- third in Australia. His great-grandfather, George Frederick Seymour, was one of seven officers to ride in to reliee the siege of Mafeking in the Boer War. Apart from 16 books on military history, colonial history and travel, Stuart has been published in The Australian, Sydney Morning Herald, National Geographic Traveler, South China Morning Post and New Zealand Herald, among others, and has lead military history tours through Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. He is considered a subject matter expert on the Thai Burma Death Railway and the WW2 POW experience in Asia/Pacific, and has contributed to a number of webinars on related topics. Read More Read Less
