Stephen W GarnerThe author is a graduate of William Carey University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in Church Music. He has devoted his career to the practice, performance, and teaching of church music in churches and universities. While teaching at William Carey University, he developed an avid interest in the Clarence Dickinson Collection, housed in its library, which contained the personal library, music, letters and memorabilia of perhaps the most influential American church musician in the early twentieth century.
