Stacy AumonierIt is an oddity of history that great talents are sometimes forgotten. I occasionally wonder about the odd and unlikely combination of events that must coincide and conspire in order for the world to "forget" great writers like Stacy Aumonier (1877 128) or Stephen Leacock or Susan Glaspell. Lost to history and unknown to modern readers, Aumonier was a gifted short story writer, perhaps as good as they come, and was recognized as one of Britain's aspiring authors during his own lifetime.
