Srinivasan Parthasarathy

Srinivasan Parthasarathy obtained his initial degree in Mathematics before acquiring his qualification in law in the year 1992 from the University of Madras. Subsequently, he also qualified in cost accounting, finance and company secretarial areas He has acquired practical experience in the financial services industry and has been in active legal practice over these years.

He has principally been advising domestic and foreign clients in the corporate sector, though he also spends a reasonable amount of time in making his services available to individuals and non-profit organizations. In particular, he has been advising clients in the fields of structuring and making investments into India, including in the form of joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, undertaking and completing corporate restructuring assignments including mergers and acquisitions, apart from other areas relating to general corporate laws, competition and trade laws, contracts negotiation and employment laws. Though he has been advising clients in different areas of manufacturing and services sectors, his industry specific focus includes the fields of law relating to fast moving consumer goods, insurance and financial services, information technology and information technology enabled services, healthcare & hospitality, food & drugs and non-profit organizations.

He has been writing articles on diverse subjects in law, apart from undertaking teaching & training assignments for clients and students in higher education, from time to time.

Currently, he is based in New Delhi, India and is a partner in PRA Law Offices, Advocates.
