Simon TrusslerSimon Trussler was co-editor of New Theatre Quarterly and the author or editor of numerous books on drama and theatre, including Shakespearean Concepts (1989), the award-winning Cambridge Illustrated History of British Theatre (193), The Faber Pocket Guide to Elizabethan and Jacobean Drama (2006) and Will's Will (2007). He was editor of the RSC Yearbook from 1978 to 1985, edited and introduced fourteen volumes in the 'Swan Theatre Plays' series (Methuen, 1986-89), and typographical consultant for the 'Shakespeare Folios' series. He served as Reader in Drama at the University of London, and as Senior Research Fellow at Rose Bruford College, where he went on to become Professor Emeritus. Through his company Country Setting, he was involved in the publication of many hundreds of new works, including the typesetting of all Faber & Faber play texts for over twenty years.
