She obtained a B.Sc. in psychology from the University of Toronto, launched into writing and coding, and slammed and somersaulted into the unknown life of brain injury. She revised her 2012 mmoir Concussion Is Brain Injury in 2017, subtitling it Treating the Neurons and Me. Taking advantage of pandemic time, she launched a website of the same name, sharing research and learnings on the neurophysiology of brain injury, how to diagnose it appropriately, and how to treat it effectively.
