She attended the University of Arizona; she received a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature and a diploma in Master Art from the International Correspondence School. Inspired by her passionfor writing, she wrote Living with LEO: Law Enforcement Officer, a book where she lightheartedly shares her observations of family life (living as a wife and mother) with law enforcement officers, giving advice to law enforcement supporters often with a humorous flair. She has illustrated and authored numerous children's books including Daisy Doo! Daisy Doo? What? Who?, Holden's Magical Blue Marble, and Princess Dixie, Princess Ella and 7 Crazy Hens. She currently resides in Payson, Arizona with her husband, Don, retired Payson Police Chief. She enjoys spending time with family and pursuing her interests in writing and art endeavors.
